hey guys, i haven’t been doing great lately and have no time to continue this project. i am going to release what i have done though. if you want to pick it up where i left off, please, go ahead. i can even share the decrypted scripts if you DM me!

IMPORTANT: this patch only works with the russian version. if you don’t know where to download it, don’t ask me in the comments as i won’t respond. DM me for a hint if you need to.

The Boy I Like? ENGLISH PATCH

so the secret project i was talking about on my tumblr is finally done! it’s called ‘ki ni naru otoko no ko?’–‘The Boy I Like?’–by 1010!

in this game, you play as Shizuki MofuKo (last name first) on her quest to get to know the man she loves. ( ˘ ³˘)♥ you can choose from 3 different types–manly, mysterious, or sexy–so there’s someone for everyone!

this game is recommended for ages 13+, and is best played free of any spoilers. what i will say is this: if you’re looking for a nice, normal heart-warming story, maybe you should look somewhere else. the main genre of this game is definitely comedy.

now, this game is rated 15+ and the mc is in high school. i dunno about you guys, but when i was in high school, i swore. a LOT. so, i was wondering… what’s the strongest swear i should use in this game? shit? fuck? should the protagonist swear, too? also, there’s a bunch of sound effects. would you rather have things like *pant* instead of ‘Haah, haah’ or something like that? please let me know in the comments! (｡´∀｀)ﾉ

amnesia hackable too!

tadah!! this one’s a bit harder. it requires hex editing, meaning i can’t just go and make text as long as i want. every sentence has to be p much the same amount of bytes. that might not be true, but i’m p new to this, so that’s how i’m doing it.

a problem, though: some of the text looks super gross. i’m gonna look into table editors. maybe a new font is possible? hmm. anyway, translating otomate games–or at least this one!–is possible. more news as i find more stuff out.

fun fact: yesterday was actually my first day of psp hacking ever, so if you have any resources that can help, please tell me!

despite the lack of tutorials and generally unfriendly PSP hacking community, i managed to unpack the new shinsouban heart no kuni no alice rom and do the above. that’s right. HnKnA. new graphics. portable. we can do it in english. need i say more?
